I'm Emily Poole, a nature illustrator based in the Pacific Northwest.
My mission is to use engaging and whimsical images to encourage viewers to see the biodiversity around them with a new sense of appreciation. I believe that artwork is an incredible tool to connect people with science and make them want to learn more about what's going on in the natural world and what we can do to protect it.

Coming September 1, 2026 from Mountaineers Books
Cascade of Life is a vividly illustrated book exploring the Pacific Northwest's ecosystems through the seasons, featuring over 120 species, hands-on activities, and science sidebars. It is my first publication as both author and illustrator.
